Unfortunately, what AI can guard, it can also betray. Cybernews this week revealed that a Meta Chatbot was tricked into providing instructions for constructing an incendiary device. The incident is a grim reminder that alignment safeguards are brittle, and that “red teaming” is not a one-off exercise but a perpetual campaign.
